The G50 CS is built around a carbon-spoke drilling rim structure combined with the CS spoke system.

Designed for larger 40 – 60C gravel tires, the rim features a 30mm internal / 37mm external width, ensuring better gravel tire support and superior stability even at low pressures. This design enhances traction, cornering confidence, and comfort on rough terrain while maintaining the structural strength required for demanding gravel conditions.

One-Piece Titanium Freehub (60T / 6°)

Lightweight and Durability, No Compromise

The Drive G50 CS features a 60T / 6°one-piece titanium freehub, delivering direct and efficient power transmission while maintaining low weight and excellent durability.

Titanium naturally offers excellent corrosion and impact resistance. Elitewheels has gone further – mastering the thermal challenges of titanium processing to machine the ratchet teeth and freehub body as a single piece (60T ratchet, 6°engagement angle).

The 6°engagement angle ensures instant pedal engagement for rapid acceleration,making it perfectly suited for frequent climbs, rolling terrain, and sprinting out of corners. Combined with acid- and alkali-resistant titanium components, the freehub delivers uncompromising durability at a remarkably low weight – just 1,380g per pair. Equipped with TPI steel bearings, it offers smooth rolling performance and reliable long-term reliability, while titanium’s natural corrosion resistance allows the Drive G50 CS to withstand mud, water, and debris in even the harshest gravel racing environments.

Optimized 2:1 Spoke Layout

Engineered for Stiffness, Built to Last

The hub adopts a 2:1 spoke flange design, helping balance spoke tension and improve overall wheel stiffness. The 21 front / 24 rear spoke layout is engineered to balance stiffness and durability. The configuration supports efficient power transfer during hard efforts while maintaining enough structural compliance to absorb vibrations from rough terrain. This spoke arrangement helps maintain wheel stability when riding on loose surfaces or uneven gravel.

Testing & Validation

Drive G50 CS wheelset undergoes over 20 laboratory tests at our facility – covering durability, longevity, and stiffness – and passes the UCI Vertical Impact Test, certifying it for top-tier professional racing.

The overall design philosophy of the Drive G50 CS focuses on real-world gravel performance. The combination of lightweight construction, responsive hub engagement, and carbon spoke structure ensures that the wheelset performs consistently across long gravel rides, endurance events, and mixed terrain routes where both efficiency and reliability are essential.
