Stage 1: Nazaré → Cós (18 km)

Start: Nazaré

• Turn onto inland roads through Famalicão and Maiorga

• Scenic ride through eucalyptus groves and vineyards

• Stop in Cós (10 minutes): Monastery of Santa Maria de Cós from the 17th century with stunning Baroque interiors

Stage 2: Cós → Serro Ventoso (22 km)

• Continue on rural roads through Alpedriz

• Gradual elevation gain through traditional Portuguese farms

• Pass stone walls and sheep pastures

• Enter the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park
