We do not pretend to run a carbon factory in Nazaré. We do the parts that decide how a bike rides and how it is looked after: the specification, the checks, the build and the service. 01 / Frame ### Our specification, a specialist factory We set the geometry, the standards and the specification. A specialist carbon factory moulds and paints the frame in Toray T700/T800 carbon. The frame and fork are UCI approved. UCI approved 02 / Components ### Specified as one system The integrated carbon cockpit and seatpost are specified with the frame, not added as an afterthought. Current standards throughout: T47, UDH, 12 mm thru-axles, flat mount brakes. 2470 g frameset 03 / Wheels ### Wheels we stand behind Our own IRONDEER G50 SL and R50 SL carbon wheelsets, plus the Elitewheels range. IronDeer is the official Elitewheels service centre in Portugal, so wheels are trued, repaired and handled under warranty here. Our mechanics build it up, cut the steerer to your stack, set it up to your fit and torque everything to spec. With the frameset, the build is free and done the same day. Almost every carbon frame in the world comes out of a small number of specialist factories, and ours is no exception. What makes a frame an IronDeer is not where the moulds are. It is the geometry, the standards and the specification we choose for the roads around Nazaré, and what happens once the frame arrives here. We check every frame on arrival, build it up in our own workshop, ride the same frames in our rental fleet every week, and handle the warranty and servicing ourselves. If we would not ride it, we do not sell it. ## Materials & components: what goes into the bike. What is on, in and around an IronDeer frame, without the marketing mystery. ### Toray T700/T800 carbon Frame and fork in Toray T700/T800 carbon, UCI approved for racing. ### Current standards T47 threaded bottom bracket, UDH hanger, 12 mm thru-axles, flat mount brakes and a 27.2 mm seatpost: parts you can find and service anywhere. ### Wheels, serviced here Our own IRONDEER G50 SL and R50 SL wheelsets, plus Elitewheels. IronDeer is the official Elitewheels service centre in Portugal. ### Any groupset 1x or 2x, mechanical or electronic, including Shimano Di2 and SRAM AXS. You choose the groupset, we build it. ### 3-year warranty 3 years on frames and wheels, in line with EU consumer law, with claims handled in our Nazaré workshop. ### Custom paint Custom paint in the colour of your choice, done at the factory, with about one month's lead time. ## From specification to first ride. Six steps, from the first drawing to the bike you ride away on. 1. 1 ### Design & specification Geometry, standards and specification chosen for the roads and riders we know, and UCI approval for racing. 2. 2 ### Factory build A specialist carbon factory moulds, finishes and paints the frame and fork to our specification, including custom colours. 3. 3 ### Arrival check Every frame is checked in our Nazaré workshop before it goes on sale or into the rental fleet. 4. 4 ### Build in Nazaré Our mechanics build the bike with your parts or ours, cut the steerer to your stack and torque everything to spec. 5. 5 ### Fit & handover Cockpit and position set up to how you ride, and the bike checked before handover. 6. 6 ### Service & warranty Servicing and warranty claims are handled here in Nazaré for the life of the bike. ## Want one built for you?
